Volunteer Opportunities
Riverbend Academy needs volunteers in the following areas:
Administrative Volunteers to answer phones, take messages and assist at the facility during operation hours
Committee chairs and members in the following areas:
Fundraising & Relationship Development Council comprised of:
-Business & Industry Relations
-Church Relations
-In-kind Gifts
-Individual Donor & Planned Giving
-Grants
Instructor & Curriculum comprised of:
-Culinary Arts Chair & committee
-Visual Arts Chair & committee
-Performing Arts Chair & committee
-Music Chair committee
-Literary Chair & committee
Outreach Committee - Works with special partnerships within the school system, special needs programming
Free & Reduced Scholarship Selection Committee - Identifies, Awards and Monitors the success of students on scholarship
PR/Marketing/Special Events Committee Members and Specific Event Chair persons
All volunteers will have to submit to a background check.

Scholarship an Individual
Help Fund an Art Scholarship
It is the mission of Riverbend Academy to make the arts accessible to all and help those that cant afford classes through scholarships.
$1,500 aids an individual and covers all expenses such as supplies, instruments, etc. Should there be any remaining funds, those monies will go into a scholarship fund to aid additional individuals when need arises. Individuals will be selected based on the current guidelines set forth by the school lunch program for full and partial scholarships.
